Red Ribbon Week – Oct. 28-Nov. 1

Monday, October 28:
“Send a message about being drug-free.” Students will receive pencils.
Tuesday, October 29:
“RED”y to be drug-free!” Students will wear red and enjoy a red snack today.
Wednesday, October 30:
“Sock it to drugs.” Wear your crazy socks on your journey.
Thursday, October 31:
“Say Boo to drugs!” Students will receive stickers.
Friday, November 1:
“Team up against drugs!” Wear your favorite team’s colors today.

Red Ribbon Week was developed in 1988 to promote an awareness of the dangers of alcohol and other drugs. This week was developed to honor the memory of Enrique Camarena. During this week, we will have special activities to educate our students on the dangers of drugs and the importance of making positive choices. 2019’s theme is Send a Message. Stay Drug Free™.

Veterans Day Ceremony – November 11

PHES will have our annual Veterans Day Ceremony on Monday, November 11, at
9:00 a.m. on the track/field beside our school. Please return forms to invite veterans, those that are currently serving in our Armed Forces, and those that protect and serve our cities, state and nation as a police officer, firefighter or other public servant. We would like to show our appreciation to them at our ceremony.
