Parents must enroll their child for Kindergarten at the school you are zoned for, even if registering for immersion at another school. At the district level, your child’s registration documents will be transferred to the school he/she will attend in immersion if enrolled.

For immersion siblings of children already in the Lexington One program – please read the following:
Students who have siblings who are currently in the program will also register for immersion at the time of registration. All registrants for 5-K immersion for 2020-21 will use the same registration link.
Siblings must be enrolled for 5-K prior to registering for immersion.

Our dual language immersion program begins in 5-year-old Kindergarten at the following schools for 2020-2021:
-Centerville Elementary (Spanish)
-Deerfield Elementary (German)
-Gilbert Elementary (Spanish)
-Meadow Glen Elementary (Mandarin Chinese)
-Midway Elementary (French)
-Pleasant Hill Elementary (Spanish)
-Red Bank Elementary (Spanish)

The district gives priority to students whose homes fall within the attendance zones for the immersion schools. Ten additional spaces are reserved at each site for students who reside outside of those attendance zones but are residents within the Lexington One attendance zones.

Registration for the partial immersion program requires that parents register ONLINE only ONCE.

Parents who do not have access to a computer may register at any public library. Deerfield Elementary, Gilbert Primary, Meadow Glen Elementary, Midway Elementary, Pleasant Hill Elementary, and Red Bank Elementary will provide computer access for parents from 4–5 P.M. on registration day only.

Prior to registering, ALL parents must read the Dual Language Immersion Parent Understandings.
