Fitness Activities and Opportunities

The Morning Fitness Program is open to all PHES students. Students have the opportunity to run, walk and exercise before school from 7:15-7:35 a.m. & meet according to grade level. The morning fitness students are supervised
by P.E. Teacher Mr. Cronin and escorted to and from the P.E. room and track.
Interested students are to meet in the P.E. room at 7:10 a.m. In case of bad weather, Mr. Cronin will lead students in exercise in the P.E. room.
Mon: 4th and 5th graders
Tues: 4th and 5th graders
Wed: 2nd and 3rd graders
Thurs: 2nd and 3rd graders
Fri: Kindergarten and 1st grade

The Tumble Tree will be offering two after school activities this school year.
Cheerleading classes will be held on Tuesdays and Dance classes on Thursdays. Classes will meet from 2:35-3:20 p.m.. The activity fee for one program is $50/mo. while fees for both activities are $90/mo. The registration fee for one
program is $40, or $55 for both, and includes t-shirt, bag, and value ribbon system. Sibling and teacher discounts

Run Hard is an 8-week after school running program that will prepare boys for a 5K race. Run Hard utilizes character-based concepts to teach running, healthy lifestyle and decision-making skills, while training to run a 5K on November 2nd. Designed for 2nd – 5th grade boys, Run Hard encourages teamwork throughout lessons and workouts. Run Hard will meet after school every
Monday and Wednesday until 4:15 p.m. Please register by September 7th.
